During high-speed operation, tiny plastic fragments or warehouse dust can accumulate on the drive wheels and belts.
The Problem: Dust reduces friction, causing the belt to lose its grip on the film.
The Fix: Power down the machine and use a soft brush or compressed air to clean the feeding mechanism. For stubborn adhesive residue, a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on a cloth can restore the "tack" to the rollers.
Standard air cushion machines often rely on Teflon belts to guide the film through the heating elements.
